Thoughts of Michael's Letter

In the letter, Michael expresses his thoughts that has been running through his mind non stop. He shared his real identity to his mother. He was being transparent. Although Michael's friends doubted him in writing the letter, he didn't cared anyway because for him, it is an act of love, he wants to share his life with his mother openly and freely. He wrote what he sees in his perspective and wished that if only there's someone who can guide him and assures him that it's okay to be different. At the end of the letter, he reassured her mother that he is still the same Michael that she knew but this time she knows him better. Being in Michael's shoes is difficult, I admit. Transparency leads us to freedom. I feel very proud for Michael because he choose to be transparent, to be an open book to his mom. And it takes a lot of courage to do that. He is brave.
