"New year, new beginnings." The Asian College of Technology celebrates their Family Day last Sunday, January, 27 2019. The said event was celebrated at ACT - Bulacao Campus

They say; "Family is Love." well, that's basically true, because without Family there will be no Love and without Love there will be no Family, if you know what I mean then I guess we are on the same page. 

 The first thing I did when I arrived was practicing the songs for the mass. My choir mates and I were preparing for the mass and we had a little bit of fun at that time. I actually arrived first before my family because of the stuffs that was needed to be done. So anyway, after preparing, we immediately registered ourselves. Minutes later, I went to see my friend, at that time, we were not complete yet. We decided to take some pictures so that we can tease the others.

Moments later my family arrived. I didn't have a chance to talk to them right away since the mass was still ongoing at that time. After the mass, we talked and decided to take some pictures at the garden. We were not complete because my father is at Surigao Del Norte, because he's obviously working. The photo below was taken by my- let's say one of my "beshies", Tiffany.

After taking some family pictures,  my classmates and I were preparing for our presentation. The preparation didn't cost huge amount of our time since the costume is simple and aside from that, we didn't used a lot of props or as if there were no props at all. 

During the performance, huge smiles were painted on everyone's faces. It clearly shows that we enjoyed our performance a lot. All of us were having fun, we even laughed so hard while dancing. I can say that was one of the best performance that we performed as a group or as a level.  We were lively, very lively. Its like we slept for a month befire the said event because the energy was incredible. 

This was the last part of the performance where Angel took a selfie. 

 After our performance, we chilled and watched the other students perform. Time flies fast, and it was dinner time. Before dinner I decided to take a selfie with my friends, of course 'cause they are also my family. On the other hand, my family went to the canteen at that time to eat and to sit.

During dinner I was in a hurry because my mom texted me that we really need to leave since her friends were also having a dinner at that time and we were invited so I have to eat fast and leave right away.  

The day was well spend. My friends? My teachers? Well, I consider them my family too because they have been with me for years now, the bond was already there, the laughters, the "chikas", the "maoys", and more. ACT is Family and Family is Love.
