Thoughts of Michael's Letter

In the letter, Michael expresses his thoughts that has been running through his mind non stop. He shared his real identity to his mother. He was being transparent. Although Michael's friends doubted him in writing the letter, he didn't cared anyway because for him, it is an act of love, he wants to share his life with his mother openly and freely. He wrote what he sees in his perspective and wished that if only there's someone who can guide him and assures him that it's okay to be different. At the end of the letter, he reassured her mother that he is still the same Michael that she knew but this time she knows him better. Being in Michael's shoes is difficult, I admit. Transparency leads us to freedom. I feel very proud for Michael because he choose to be transparent, to be an open book to his mom. And it takes a lot of courage to do that. He is brave.     Family is a single word which has different meanings. Everybody has a lot of ways in defining family and what being part of a family means to them as well. Though each member of a family has his or her own beliefs, opinions and many other facets, but what every family has in common is that the people that are part in the family are making it clear that those other people that are part of it is important and that they are being loved.     What is the essence of Family Day? Well for me, family day gives parents or any family members and their children to celebrate the real meaning of what it is to be a family and also to spend quality time with each other by participating in the said activities. Ang Aking Karanasan    Bago ko ilalahad kung ano ang aking karanasan sa kamping, ay ilalahad ko muna kung ano ang ibig sabihin ng CAT. Ang ibig sabihin ng CAT ay Citizenship Advancement Training. Lahat ng estudyante ay makakaranas nito sa kanilang ikasampung baitang. Sa pagkakaintindi ko, sila ang tumutulong sa kanilang kapwa estudyante, sila rin ang nagpapanatili ng kapayapaan at katahimikan kapag may mga aktibidad sa eskwelahan. Bakit Tayo Nanghuhusga?             Ang paghuhusga ay isa sa mga hindi magagandang asal ng isang tao. Sa pagkakaalam ko, tayo mga Pilipino ay mahilig manghusga sa kapwa nating Pilipino, nakakalungkot kasi imbis magtulungan tayo ay sinisira natin ang isa’t – isa. Lahat tayo ay may kanya-kanyang reaksyon o opinyon tungkol sa isang pangyayari, bagay o tao at hindi natin kayang itago ang mga iyon.
